Description
Biriyani is quite a celebratory dish. In Kenya, Biriyani is considered a coastal dish. Although we know this dish came with the Indian immigrants across the Indian ocean, we’ve made it our own and changed the ingredients to what is locally available.
We make three types of Biriyani, Chicken, Lamb and Vegetable. We marinate our meats overnight with the warm spices, garlic, ginger. Our Biriyani stews are lactose-free as we finish them with coconut milk.
We also offer a deconstructed version, where you can choose to have the stew and rice served separately, which is my preference. I was and still am a picky eater!
