Description
Preserved lemons is a common condiment in North African and Middle East cuisine. We use it for flavoring the tagines, drinks, cakes and adding complexity where lemon zest is called for. It takes us 1 months to make our preserved lemons. We pickle organic yellow lemons and sometimes green lemons in salt. We make the preserved lemon in 200g-KES400 and 450g-KES800 jars.
